Can you tell which one was made first?

I used a custom color chart for this too since I wanted a different shape. The pattern I paid for is still bee-related (ravelry link)

To be honest I'm a bit unhappy with how much the floats show through and I tried different strategies to no avail. I think this little detail on the thumb I added is cute though:

Also the first time I worked with a pattern holding stitches and picking them up later.

Congrats! I once heard someone call DPNs "wrestling with a hedgehog", which I've found entirely accurate.

It's definitely an experience. I was debating using circulars instead but I wanted to try something new. I'm not sure what it is that makes some people prefer DPNs, except I suppose not worrying about cable length and magic loop stuff (which thinking more on it I also didn't want to deal with for this project)

Oh, and the fact that apparently for stranded color work you need two pairs of circulars which is more of a monetary investment anyway.
