I'm visiting China right now, and it's absolutely surreal with how many EVs there are, including all these brands I've never even heard of. Buses, garbage trucks, street cleaners: all electric. The roads are super busy and yet super quiet. I think even the car horns are quieter.

I travelled to Mexico for the first time in years and as soon as I left the airport I saw a BYD plant (not Mexico City either, a different state). The times they are a changing.

Wait is it surprising that people have cars in Poland?

[–] Super_Lumalo@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago

Girl, it's not that bad, its just very surprising to see a BYD car not only in my area, but registered here, in Zadupiszyny Dolne, municipality Wykurwice, county Nigdziów

This isn't like a big city, where they're pretty easy to find among the petite bourgeoisie, and honestly? I'm all for the Chinese Century™ xicko yes-hahaha-yes-l

spoilerI'll never afford one sicko-wistful

They all share the same gas station, I hear. Much like the one computer that exists in Poland

[–] GaveUp@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago

That's awful to hear, I didn't know

[–] Frogmanfromlake@hexbear.net 1 points 1 week ago

They mean EV’s and BYD in particular
