What else do you expect from a video game themed pawn shop?

I had a lingering balance of 45000 reward points in my account that I tried to make use of today. It was a complete scam.

You can buy discounts with points, maxing out at a $15 discount for 15000 points. But discounts don’t stack - they only apply to one item, the item of the highest value in the cart, and don’t apply to anything on sale or clearance. Or gift cards. Or subscriptions. And shipping anything is an $8 minimum. Plus tax.

So you’re stuck with $15 discounts that you can only use on overpriced games and tchotchke garbage, most of which gets consumed by shipping charges.

I spent an hour coming through the online store looking for something, anything, useful or interesting to use the discounts on with no luck. Items aren’t even worth reselling on Ebay.

Yeah as much as I'd love for them to succeed since there's not many game shops around my area, their changes are really fucking annoying. Also upping their free shipping min to $80 is insane.

I litterally only use my pro membership to get five dollars off a ten dollar psn card every month. Guess this is the last month of that.
