California has like 40M people. That's ten cents per person, spread over 6 years. It's literally nothing. A road costs more to bankroll (I tried looking up a specific figure but they're all over the place).
That’s also ignoring all the other taxes California collects line from businesses/commerce
Why is this a problem?
At first I thought this was good because this is actually what I want my tax dollars to go toward. But it seems like that is not what the writer of this article is saying...
Removed, California is not "World News".
World News is for things that happen OUTSIDE the United States. If we didn't make the distinction, it would be over-run with US News and Politics.
