From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I just want to write this in appreciation of Glaxnimate - a tool I totally did not know about a while back. According to their page: "Glaxnimate is a simple and fast vector graphics animation program." While their GUI is gimp-esque it is still an awesome tool when it comes to saving money! When I have to handle or create Lottie Animations usually people have to pay; e.g. svgator, lottielab, adobe after effects and so on. So either the creator has this expesive crap from Adobe or will go with some online editor. I know there are other tools for Linux to handle Lottie files like Haiku Animator which didnt get any updates since 2020. Glaxnimate is just great to remove all the stupid watermarks from online services. Create using Lottielab or whatever with free tier, download watermarked lottie, remove watermark in Glaxnimate. They also did releases for O$X and M$.

Anyone know any better open and free linux tools for lottie editing?
