Hey there.

All my scam-alarmbells are ringing, but I'd like to have a little perspective because I never got into trading with crypto at all.

A friend of mine apparently put about $70k in different crypto into masscoin.vip Then there seem to have been some hijinx with mistyped adresses, and talks with support later, masscoin.vip representatives tell my friend, that they need to fork over another 10% of their holdings, so another $7k, to validate their account or something.

This has to be a scam, right? The Money is gone, and since it was put in via crypto there is no way to recover it?

hello i am also a victim to masscoin.vip, my lost is 34000€, i already filed a case by the police, the chance of recovery is little but from chinese intellgence quelle i think i know something about the criminal group, they are located at dubai. A revenge is still possible and that's what i am going for. I know the feeling of being scammed, if you want to share more you can write me xucc90@gmail.om i will try my best to help, meantime also help myself getting out from this nightmare.

I have been involved with crypto for years and the only cryptos i will even touch are Monero, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDC, DAI, and Matic. Assume 99% of crypto is a scam and you will be fine. I feel confident in the list above after being into crypto since 2013. The big thing is how you approach it. DO NOT approach it as an investment. IT IS MONEY, buy coffee with it, pay your phone bill with it, paint a house for it, repair a computer for it. IT IS MONEY. Use it the same way you would use dollars or euros or pounds. Real crypto people seriously dislike "number go up moonboys"
