South African President Cyril Ramaphosa sat in awkward silence as he listened to a video US President Donald Trump played in the Oval Office. CNN's Larry Madowo reports that Trump was pushing debunked claims and multiple reports have found no evidence of a "White genocide" in South Africa.

So I was reading this other article posted on .world that said the photos were from the Congo where Rwandan backed rebels were blamed. I found it salient that Rwanda will be taking kidnapped prisoners. What I'm unclear on is the Congolese rebellion. Can someone please give an overview? Thank you in advance.
