It's not the government I'm worried about influencing Bitcoin, my friend. It's large institutional investors who all pull out at the same time tanking the value and screwing little people. Whether the current US government is fraudulent isn't tied to the fact that the reason people trusted the US monetary system was because it had rules that generally prevented that mass level of market fuckery, even if it allowed for more fuckery than is desired.
