Oh boy this brings back bad memories. My girlfriend and I were waiting for boarding. They make an announcement, that boarding is started, and to please wait until your group is called, and to keep away (this was on the tail end of covid and hygiene rules were quite strict.) We were boarding group 3, so we wait for our announcement. And we wait, and we wait. Finally, we hear our names on last call. We run to the boarding desk thing, and they are so mad at us for not coming earlier. Yelling at us what we were waiting for, etc. We just told them that we're boarding group 3 and were specifically instructed to wait until we're called. They told us that sometimes it just goes faster than expected so they don't call the groups. Which, of course, we're supposed to know telepathically?

Anyway, we made it onto the plane, and thankfully staff on the plane was very nice (I think they noticed I nearly had a panic attack.) Still think of this every so often. Especially since I felt like there is nothing I could've done without explicitly violating what we were told.

Lemmings can think for themselves!

Does that mean we won't develop a Reddit hivemind?
