I do not know much about lazysocial but Blahaj seems like a great fit for your community. I am a male, so I never comment on the posts in the community, but I think it is a great place.

Thanks mate! We love seeing comments like this, for every aggressive male commenter there's been really supportive ones like you. We really appreciate it ☺️

Ditto! :) It's something as a male I don't need to go wading in to comment or whatnot but I love that it exists; it always looks like a great place from the posts I see on my travels. :)

Hoping the move goes smoothly :)

Thanks mate! It's going great so far. And I've been really touched by how incredibly supportive so many men like you have been, right from day one πŸ’—

Out of curiosity, why the move? It's not like it's shutting down like lemm.ee

It's a valid question! We've had no issues with lazysoci.al and were happy there, the admin is really nice. However we kept getting attacked my hostile Manosphere types. Blahaj are a bigger instance with more admin resources, they've also got loads of experience protecting groups. Plus it's just a good fit as they have a lot of LGBT communities over there.

Hope the move goes smoothly & you get some peace.

Not a personal fan of segregated communities on either end of the scale, but I can see how it's a necessity in some places. Some people just can't live and let live.

Yep exactly! And it has really helped with the kerfuffle so it's going good

Possibly because piefed has better mod tools. It's partially why piefed.zip exists too.

Very useful for that community.

Just so you know, there's a neat Piefed admin feature to add a note above the comment form for special communities. For instance on piefed.social, Rimu has added a reminder to respect the "be nice" guidelines on beehaw's communities. WomensStuff could use that 😊

I don't know if it federates though, you might need to individually ask server admins to add the note on theirs.

Nice one thanks! @ada@piefed.blahaj.zone can we do this?
