That looks like an admission of guilt to me.

"We have always enforced and will continue to enforce our laws fairly and without discrimination towards all companies operating in the EU, in full compliance with global rules," the Commission spokesperson said.

It would be so funny if Meta left EU and blocked the users.

That looks like an admission of guilt to me.

Them admitting guilt or not isn't very relevant in a case like this. EU does research and invite them for a conversation. Then they have two options: do nothing and pay a fine, or do something and pay nothing if EU ends up satisfied with what they did. Aside from that they can choose to appeal, but it won't be about whether they believe they did something wrong but that the eu's regulations are wrong. That's what they're doing when accusing EU of discriminating against business model, they're saying the eu's regulations are wrong.
