Free Palestine and free Ukraine too.

[–] jackeroni@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yes! Free the people of Ukraine from the current US-propped Nazi regime!

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (2 children)

No I was thinking of freeing them from the ones invading their country.

What’s the difference between Palestine and Ukraine?

[–] jackeroni@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 week ago

Funny, that's what I was thinking! The US installed invaders.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The difference is the US isn't materially supporting Palestine. If the US is backing a regime they are always bad news, no exceptions.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago (47 children)

The US has supplied Palestine with over five billion dollars since 1994 though.

[–] m532@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 1 week ago

And the greeks have suppported the trojans with a wooden horse?

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Source? And how much of it is military support? Because we're giving Ukraine a shitload of actual hardware with which to kill russians, I'm willing to bet you can't find a single example of the same for Palestine, not one gun or bomb for killing Israelis

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world -3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Oh so that’s the exception?

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I'm not seeing any evidence yet for the US actually supporting Palestinians in any way, so no

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world -2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You didn’t spend the time looking into it?

It’s pretty well known that they send aid so I’m not going to bother sending you a link.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Lol that's not how burden of proof works dipshit, you made the claim so it's your job to substantiate it. If it's so well known then it should be easy for you to prove, you should get busy proving it instead of wasting time asking me to do your homework for you

[The US is also a major contributor, providing more than $5.2 billion through USAID since 1994.[7] In recent years, this aid has totaled around $600 million annually.[7] Since April 2021, the United States has provided over half a billion dollars in assistance for the Palestinians, including more than $417 million in humanitarian assistance for Palestinians through UNRWA, $75 million in support through USAID, and $20.5 million in COVID and Gaza recovery assistance.[82]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_aid_to_Palestinians)

Wikipedia is not a primary source halfwit, try scrolling to the bottom of the page and posting links to the sources they've cited

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Already linked in the comment.

Anything I post isn’t going to be enough for you anyways.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

You posted a link to a wikipedia page, wikipedia is not a source, wikipedia articles routinely contain cited sources that are outdated, dead links, or are verifiably incorrect. Post links to actual sources so that I and others can evaluate them, or admit you have nothing and tuck tail.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world -3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You have the information you need look into it or not it’s up to you.

[–] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (4 children)

I did, the only source cited in your wikipedia article excerpt is a Times of Israel article

https://www.timesofisrael.com/how-much-aid-does-the-us-give-palestinians-and-whats-it-for/

Exactly one extremely biased source, which provides no verifiable sources for its own claims. Every link in this article either leads to another Times of Israel article, a 404 error, or an unsourced infographic PDF. You've got nothing and you know it, that's why you threw such a fit about actually posting the source for your bullshit claims.
