This isn’t unique to EVs unfortunately. People are churning out misinformation videos on all sorts of topics. I saw one the other day, similar format to the thumbnail, but celebrity eulogies (presented as news reports) for celebrities that are alive. They are trying to catch a viral video with the news being idiots, other AI news farms, or advertising something,

Classic YouTube had down-votes visible to identify this stuff

I tell you what, this knife cuts both ways. There's so many of the historical EV channels that have engaged in complete click-bait and got caught up in "media" outlets that it's mind blowing. And there's several channels that I used to deeply respect that have just gone off the rails, lending credibility to complete and utter nonsense greenwashing scams. Add to that the channels that are clearly either machine generated crap or run by weirdos trying hard to tell people what vehicle to want, and you've got the current Youtube EV ecosystem.

It sucks, because there used to be decent large channels out there. Now it's all very small independent people getting no views, no clicks, and having to beg and borrow for access to newer vehicles.
