I'm rooting my samsung a33 device with kernelsu. Lets say I install the next update through OTA, will the kernel get replaced with the samsung kernel or will the kernelsu one remain?

I don't think you can get OTA if you root a Samsung. EDIT: You can get OTA except that it isn't actual OTA but manual, the process is a bit involved.

Most likely the update will contain the boot.img which would overwrite you're rooted kernel, assuming a rooted Samsung device still takes updates.
