And we're about to see a lot more in the following days

[–] bdonvr@lemmy.rogers-net.com 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And then a lull for a bit, and another at the end of the month.

Then another next time reddit has a disaster, which probably won't be long.

Tbh I rather see some more of them if that also means that people are actually migrating, then not seeing any of them but noone is/ less are migrating anymore.

[–] captgandalf@beehaw.org 27 points 1 year ago

Technically, this too feels like a reddit migration post 🤔

[–] FiskFisk33@lemmy.world 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You do realize this is technically a reddit migration post?

[–] Gray@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 year ago

Does this mean your comment is technically a Reddit migration comment? Does this mean mine is?

Mastodon users six months ago complaining about Twitter every day / Lemmy users now complaining about Reddit every day

Something something history repeats

[–] GalaxyGamer@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 year ago

Something something history doesn't repeat it just rhymes

[–] peeonyou@lemmy.ml 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm so over this.. and something tells me we're always going to be stuck with mentions of that cursed site now

[–] Linnce@lemmy.ml 16 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I think it's gonna die out soon considering how fasr things change on the internet. After the going dark of june 12th I think people will either really stick to lemmy or go back to reddit and things will go back to normal gradually.

On Mastodon they still talk about Twitter, but it’s getting less and less. It takes time.

[–] burgersc12@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I'm hoping plenty of people stick with it, so far I'm enjoying it

Hope so too, I like it but I feel like it needs a lot more activity to really work long term. Though tbf I'm still working on setting up my front page properly and figuring out how everything works

[–] seirim@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

How soon until we can just forget about Reddit entirely? I’m already ready.

[–] SuperSloth@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How’s everyone liking it so far?!?!

[–] neeshie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

It's pretty awesome. Haven't really posted yet but the browsing experience is solid.
