Bondi wants them to NOT pursue the death penalty for this guy, who literally murdered thousands, but pursue for Luigi

There's no death penalty in Mexico. Mexico only extradite criminals to other countries in exchange of honouring their ban on death penalty. Killing him could make the extradition of cartel members more difficult as Mexico could deny future extradition on grounds of humans rights violation. Although he was arrested on American soil. It could still open the debate in Mexico to deny extraditions, taking into account that he is a big fish. At least that is what I think.

El chapos family likely bought those stupid ass golden visas and were recently seen in the US. Trump is deporting the people at home Depot, and letting the literal worst of the worst into the country.
