I think it's important to remember that the whole reason there are different skin colors is evolution trying to find the proper balance between protecting skin from UV rays and allowing enough UV rays through to produce enough nutrients.

I don't buy it. Indoor type people look way younger than their outdoor peer group in their 40s and 50s

There are other factors that age skin. Wind, cold, etc.
