This has been happening since the app launched, I was hoping it would be fixed by now but it still occurs in both the PWA and the Play store Version. Seems to occur when scrolling past a picture.

is this a known issue, or should I report this as an issue on the github?

This seems to be fixed on the recent 1.9 update.

I'm on 1.9.2 and had this issue happen just before I made this post. I've been checking the changelog since release but I dont see anything about this issue being fixed with 1.9

I can confirm that this happens to me as well and I just updated to 1.9.2. It seems to happen randomly, but the most when I scroll down and let it fling, then put my finger back down to stop it. It's very infuriating.

I think it has something to do with how images load because it doesn't seem to happen unless the community I'm in has images I'm scrolling past. I couldn't get it to happen on this community until I got to someone's screenshot.

Tapping an item off the bottom of the screen no longer annoyingly scrolls the feed.

This was the bug I was experiencing and referring too. I thought this was the reason for your bug too as I have had no weird scrolling behaviour since version 1.9

it must be a similar but different bug, since it happens when I'm scrolling, not when I tap on something

I’ve been experiencing it too (iOS 1.9.2 TestFlight app). I feel like I didn’t have this happening for a while and I wonder if something happened in 1.9.1 or 1.9.2.

Have you found a way to make this occur reliably? If I could do that, I’d roll back to 1.9.1 and do some testing to see if the issue is happening there as well.

If I set specific height for all images it seems to help with this.

Another way that I think might help is if you can somehow have a placeholder that is the same height as the image is going to be before it is even loaded? I don't know if that would be possible.
