Follow up from Karl Jobst basically just showing clips of what Jirad said in his apology, contrasted with clips from the past where he said the exact opposite.

One would hope this seals the deal and convinces everyone that Jirad did it on purpose, but we all know that's not the truth.

What exactly is the story here? Can someone provide some context?

Jirad, The Completionist, has a charity called the open hand foundation and runs an event every year called indie land. They claimed that they donated the raised money to dementia research. He's done this nearly 10 years.

Two youtubers found according to public filings that the open hand foundation never donated any money and were reporting less income than expected. They both released some videos going over all the evidence.

In response to that, Jirad donated 600k like a week after he was called out and released a "response" video claiming that he didn't do anything wrong and never lied. We were all just confused.

This video is breaking down how the "response" video is nothing but lies by showing clips of Jirad making claims at events that contradict the response video. Also the response ignored some of the key allegations.

There are about 4 hours of video context but that's my best TLDW.

Oh yay shitty apology videos and youtuber drama response videos.

I mean drama seems a little underselling since people who donated were obviously scammed.

But I understand how tiring updates on what influencers are doing can be even if I personally feel like "this one isn't drama it's different!"
