He collabs with Internet Historian a bit, and that sphere is a bit to very alt-right. For example, see hbomberguys video on Plagiarism, the part on internet historian. But I've seen very few of his videos.

Same circle as Wendigoon and also now sadly MoistCritical.
IH and the other two have a terrible, laugh exasperatedly at unfunny jokes kind of podcast now.
Now I don't think Charlie is a bad guy, but IH and Wendigoon are basically conservative chuds.
Its a shame as IH has put out some actually funny and interesting stuff in the past, as well as Ordinary Things.
But, eventually, most people who are way too online, well off, and already have a fan base of also disproportionately waaay too online bored, economically trapped youngish men, if left to their own devices, tend toward political views that only make sense with a facile understanding of issues.
Time and time again we've seen previously more relatively politically neutral YouTubers personally adopt more conservative views... in the long run its determined by the logic of what will keep them popular.
Oh yeah never seen IH's stuff but he seems like a real fucker
Personally, I will treat content creators differently even if they create similar content, based on their history. Reputation is something that can be earned or broken over time. IH wasn't just a reactionary, he also never acknowledged or apologized for it. I'm all for rehabilitation, but even the most lenient leftist will look for some evidence that someone's changed. In this case, it just looks like he went covert and turned to looking more respectable.
Charlie, on the other hand, has gone out of his way not to misgender Ezra Miller when commenting on that controversy, so I'm definitely willing to extend him more grace regarding... Well, I don't know whatever he's thought of being reactionary for this time.
Never heard of him but by that description of his opinions I can't imagine I'd like it
Which is strange, because he's put out a lot of fundamentally anti-capitalist (or at least reformist) stuff without calling it that explicitly.
