Man, can you imagine being the scientist who discovers this effect and you're filled with hope that this can encourage children to use soap, having their favorite super hero give them a thumbs-up or something.

And then some horny CEO sticks a naked, definitely-not-underage girl with bunny ears into there.

This must have been how Oppenheimer felt.

[–] Zehzin@lemmy.world 25 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago) (1 children)

Oppenheimer knew what was gonna happen. This is like if someone had invented vibrating prayer beads

Hello, patent office?

[–] Clbull@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

This must be how Hitachi felt when they invented the magic wand. A handheld massager turned out to be the perfect instrument for clitoral stimulation.

The fact that wand massager sex toys are commonly referred to as 'hitachis' much like how parents in the 80's/90's would call any games console a Nintendo must have been so harmful for their brand.

Soap is really easy to make and a cool activity for kids. I have a few mold, this is a great idea (the thumbs up one). Will try to make it. Not sure what to use for the drawing to include in the soap. I found this you can print on transparency paper.

Not sure what to use for the drawing to include in the soap.

Maybe a naked, definitely-not-underage girl with bunny ears into there?

I was more talking about the kind of material, but it looks like you can use transparent sheet used for retro projectors and print on them.

I swear if I see a collection of these unused on eBay in 30 years...

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 19 points 8 months ago (1 children)

No they will be well used, probably too well used.

[–] athos77@kbin.social 23 points 8 months ago

Kind of you to assume these will be used, instead of bought and stored as collector's pieces.

Getting nerds to bathe at conventions

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@lemm.ee 14 points 8 months ago

I love being clean and dirty at the same time.

This is Amiya from the mobile game Arknights, if anyone is interested.

[–] Edgarallenpwn@midwest.social 1 points 8 months ago

Where's the SilverAsh version

[–] synapse1278@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

And there is also an Anime series.

[–] EvilEyedPanda@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

Wait what, I might unironically buy this!

[–] RIP_Cheems@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Do I accept this for cleanliness, or do I reject it for lewdity?

[–] helpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

those who 'need' this will either just run water over the soap until the goods can be seen and never touch it again...or...they won't care because they can get the picture on their phone.

Someone needs to make a decision-button meme:

Shower for a change, or see anime titties…

I’d imagine a large amount of weebs would have a stoke.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 1 points 8 months ago

There ya go.

[–] helpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)
[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, that wouldn’t ever be me deciding on that. Anime is the cringiest thing to exist in my world.

[–] helpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago (1 children)

What! I made the meme just for you. I thought you'd like it.

/s no worries, just being silly.

Also sorry, you've only been exposed to the cringe side of anime. There are some good shows mixed in the pile of garbage, just like with western shows. But its not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay. (Not /s)

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 1 points 8 months ago

Oh no worries at all! It’s just this one made it out to be me that was having to make that decision. Wouldn’t be a decision for me at all! Shower all the way!

[–] Vrtrx@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago

Why Amiya :(

[–] HubertManne@kbin.social 4 points 8 months ago (1 children)

what websites should I avoid so I don't accidentally buy one of these bad bad things?

[–] liforra@endlesstalk.org 0 points 8 months ago (2 children)
[–] HubertManne@kbin.social 4 points 8 months ago (1 children)

its a joke comment. tell me about it so I can stay away from it. given the erotic connotations it would be a bad thing to like puritan ideal types.

[–] liforra@endlesstalk.org 0 points 8 months ago

Oh missed the joke :)

[–] Reddfugee42@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

I love your work on Star Trek, Data ❤️

[–] InSamsara@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

There's a work around to this, I mean you could just rub the stuff off and not apply it to yourself, hypothetically.
