“If you want to use LeFou, we won’t sue you. So go on. You have my word. Technically, the copyright isn’t until 2086, but we hate that little shit. Just promise you won’t try to make him look cool because he’s not cool—he fucking sucks.” At press time, Iger added that anyone who tried to touch Lumière would be fucking dead.

LMFAO

what if Lumière touches me, uwu?

That's clearly parody, and thus fair use. Lumière is, of course, famously known for being the guy who definitely doesn't fuck. Definitely. Never once has that guy even been close to sexual in any way. /s

Oh. My. God. I fully ate the onion on the headline and the first few sentences of the quote.

That’s so embarrassing.

There are 2 types of people in the world:

Those who have eaten the onion, and those who will.

Happens to the best of us :)

The headline itself isn't that bad, maybe other than "why would they expend effort to do that?" The article tho, sheeeesh

It's kinda weird how I never had a problem with eating the onion before but now that it's a part of my media feed suddenly I'm like of course, Disney just throws its IP to the public for fun all the time. I take it the "free use" version of LeFou is already zooming around the internet.
