Do we have fans here of the mother franchise? Seems they will do something special to celebrate mother 2 (source). What would you like to see according to mother 2?

It's Hobonichi and not Nintendo making the announcement, which means it's not going to be anything beyond new merch.

I'm sure you are right....but i don't believe in more than a port or a remaster/remake

I would be shocked with even that. Though I was pleasantly surprised at Metroid Prime Remastered, its faults not withstanding.

Do you mean the Earthbound franchise? If so, I am familiar with the franchise through the character Ness in Super Smash Bros, and there are a few VGM artists on YouTube that have done covers of the game's music.
