is there a program that will allow me to do this without having to sign into my google account? like sendanywhere but for bluetooth?

On my pixel there's a Bluetooth option under the share menu... I'll try it with windows when I can

in order to use the "share nearby" feature between a phone and a PC, yes, as far as I can tell

edit: I should probably mention my phone is still googled.

"share nearby" is not simple bluetooth. You can still send files through bluetooth without having to login to any provider.

I generally use usb to transfer data , its faster i believe !

You can use pairdrop.net to transfer files between any 2 devices on the same wifi/lan.

i think syncthing is actually going to be a better solution for what i want to achieve (keep local music files on my phone on my PC too), but it's good to know these things.
