MODERATORS

When I logged in today, I noticed that I had 3 pending registrations on my instance. I haven't really come up with any rules, any moderation policy....really anything.

I could use some advice. I want to be as permissive as possible within reason.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Edited title for clarity. I have a functional idea of how the tools themselves work.

The easiest thing to do imo would be to just copy the rules from one of the main instances and stick to these. Then just monitor the activity on your instance from time to time and review applications and reports.

Hi, please consider reposting tech questions about Lemmy software on !lemmy@lemmy.ml

I understand well enough how the tech works. My question is more about the social aspect, so I don't really consider it to be a tech question.

That being said, I edited the OP to be more clear, my apologies.

No problem, sorry for my mistake :)

I'm asking for advice about how to moderate from a social perspective...did i not get that across in the OP?

Ummm... I was commenting on a completely different topic. I have no clue why this comment showed up here. Weird bug

This happened to me earlier.
