What is going on? What is the whole industry doing? Universally, it seems vendors refuse to release decent 7840u laptops. There are tons of 7835 class laptops or 68xx laptops with32gb of RAM. Why is it that we cannot get 7840u with the RAM they need to split between the GPU and the CPU?

I suspect nVidia is forcing vendors in the US to sandbag 7840U systems because it cuts into 3050 sales or somesuch.

Does anyone actually know what is going on? They can't all just be idiots.
