Good to see you here.

Redhat--installed with floppies, years ago. Back to Windows for work. Ubuntu. Lubuntu. Bohdi. Endeavor. Pop. (Actually love Pop). And now Debian with i3. Don't think I'm hopping after this.

I haven't done Arch yet, might give it a try. But, before that I think I'll do Linux from Scratch. Maybe I'll learn something then.

I was on Lemmy a few years ago on another instance.

I'm always glad to see people on Linux.

It doesn't matter if you're a power user or not. I've been using Linux as my daily driver for over eight year. And, just the other day on here I had a user give me some good info on Bash. Ctrl + R is much better than up arrow or history. It blew my mind when I used it. I really should learn more Bash though.

5 or 6 years since I fully dumped windows. Went Ubuntu, to Kubuntu to EndeavourOS. Only really got back in to gaming the past 2 years and I've had a few, but not many issues. Overall its a much more pleasent experience.

I tried KDE neon but didn't really understand the dual update nature if it. I preferred just Kubuntu and one stop apt update shop.

I just switched when Proton became a thing because I knew the Steam Deck would help make Linux gaming way better.

Welcome, I am just coming over from Reddit. I dumped Windows 11 years ago. First to Ubuntu, then to Kubuntu and now back to Ubuntu.

Started Ubuntu 11 years ago I think I was on Windows 7 when I dumped Windows. My machine was home built as well.

Long time mac user with some linux experience on the server side. Also had Manjaro running for some time in the past. Ditched mac recently and now using a vendor customized KUbuntu distribution (TuxedoOS). Quite happy so far!
