well then again i have had a lot family members die so i've kinda come to accept death easily.
Edit: what sucks even more is that i want to be emotional about this game, i want to care about hinawa's death, and experience the tears that so many other players before me shed, but I just can't. It's not that I don't care about hinawa, it's just that it's become easy for me to accept the loss of people close to me.
It's not that you're desensitized, it's that you're experienced. Experience makes you immune to trite attempts at tear-jerking
Also, Mother 3 is mostly held up as an example of great writing because of inertia. It's not. It's just become cool to say so. Kind of like how if you take any shitty Wings song Paul McCartney shit out and told people it was an unreleased Talking Heads song, they'd act like it's a masterpiece. Mother is a meme.
