Weird And Oddly Specific Playlists

a place for weird, unique, or oddly specific playlists. please read the pinned post here for a more detailed description

the rules:

  1. be civil. let’s try to keep our community as chill as possible. no bullying, zero tolerance for transphobia, hate speech or any of that bigoted bullshit.
  1. be content with the content. if someone didn't make a playlist the way you would, make your own and post it please. no bullying, no picking on, mocking or complaining about anyones playlist or musical tastes.
  1. remember: all music is good music to someone. general discussions about music you like and don’t like is fine, but please refrain from comments that will make someone feel bad about what they enjoy.
  1. no self-promotion. this is not a group for promoting your music or a business, website, app, instagram.. you get the idea. it's just playlists in here

This is one of my playlists. I've been working on this one for about a decade now lol. It's my interpretation of songs that would play at the Roadhouse on Twin Peaks (the tv show), it's a vibe.

Would you mind sharing a list of the tracks or even some highlights? I don't have Spotify so can't see what's on there. Love Twin Peaks!

I'm always updating my playlists so you may end up missing stuff. Is there a different platform that would be easier for you? Like youtube or something? I could put up a video playlist I think but it might take a few days. I'm open to building my playlists on platforms other than spotify or youtube as well

I use YouTube Music, but don't worry about it! Figured I'd make it into a playlist and check it out.

Hey OP I wanted to thank you for the playlist again, it has become my favorite and I truly enjoy the overall mood and well thought order of songs! I listen to it fairly often and have recommended to others as well. I tried to PM my thanks but the app keeps crashing 😅

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoy it. I've been working on a few more Twin Peaks themed playlists if you're interested. I've got an Audrey Horne one thats almost finished enough to post; it's mostly dreamy 50s doo-wop mixed with similar sounding modern songs, some of which are on the roadhouse playlist so you'll recognize them.

I'm also doing a black lodge playlist, a white lodge playlist, and (eventually) a playlist of songs written about Twin Peaks. I'll post them here when they're done or you can follow me on spotify if you don't wanna miss them.
