Jem replaced Robotech on my local TV station. I watched it for weeks, hoping Robotech would somehow come back. It did not. I was heartbroken.

If they'd popped her into a fancy mech, thrown in a transformation sequence, and gotten her to fight evil aliens for a couple of episodes I probably would have been happy.
