My sister hasn’t replied in a month lol. I get it though.

My problem is perfectionism/anxiety/procrastination loop. "oh I gotta write a good reply to this text" --> "fuck I can't think of the right words, that's making me anxious -> "I'll do it later when I can do it properly and I won't be anxious" -> 2 weeks later -> "fuck why am I so bad at this"

That is so true. Then I feel bad for seenzoning the dude and reply. Although my brain wants to run away!

Thanks for the reminder, I still had one of those messages waiting for me...

It's been an hour, it's still waiting right?

Why are you calling me out like this?

Me with the LinkedIn messages about offers....like I am not interested but...I mean it takes me nothing to just say something instead of left them as unread. Plus maybe, just maybe, they offer something more interesting in the future after I tell them why I am saying no.

I once forgot to respond to a friend for 5 months, lmao. Luckily he knows me well enough to know I sometimes forget and I was kind of going through a personal crisis, so a 'hey man kinda forgot to respond for 5 months, how are you' was enough to make it all right again

The pain of responding after a while
