Honestly this article leaves with more questions unanswered. Where did he got the cp from? From whom did he get it? And how did they find it?
This just feels shallow to read.
I’m sure the feds are asking where and from whom he got it. They’ve got a lot of leverage now.
As for how they found it, they probably had a warrant to search all his electronic devices for other domestic terrorism stuff. Whoops! Looks like he ignored the “only break one law at a time” rule.
I can't remember ever reading stories like this that name the source of the cp when the person arrested is the recipient and not the distributor.
