Obviously not that great in comparison, but I've managed to keep running 3 times a week since September last year. I'm pretty happy with this I've gotta say. Started running for weight loss and heart health. Haven't lost any weight - I'm still ~120kg post COVID - but my heart health has improved a lot.

Side note - if I was to compete against the 4 minute mile record holder, they would beat me by almost exactly 4 minutes...haha

That's not a bad time at all, especially where you are in your journey, and especially taking a long the doggo. My frame of reference is entirely based on times from my high school cross country days, and I'd say a 26 minute 5k means your solidly on the JV team, but definitely not the slowest.

When I run with my dog we're looking at 11 minute miles at best, partly cause we need to get in those sniffing and poop breaks. I usually do a run by myself before taking the dog for a run lol. So cudos to your dog as well!

It's from a website called SmashRun. Free for basics, paid for extra stats. Links in with my Garmin. Trying it as it has a few features Garmin hasn't provided as yet.

Oh, I haven't been back to Smashrun for years. That's a nice new infographic they've got. One thing they always did well was infographics!
