It's so annoying! Sometimes switching to inbox or profile and back will let more load, but sometimes it just stays stuck with no more loading no matter what I do
Jerboa
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Sometimes it starts loading more when I scroll some way up and then back down. My guess is, the app is very prone to "network errors" and when it encounters one while scrolling, it gives up.
It's not the only app or website with this problem... Damn scripts.
But I think there's also something about Lemmy here. For example, when browsing "top/hour" posts, at some point it stops loading as if there's a hard limit.
With top/hour there obviously is a hard limit. You've reached the end of the posts made in the last hour. That's not the fault of Lemmy or the app. That's just the expected behaviour.
It works differently on top/day, and top/6 or 12 hours have other differences still, like how they handle showing seen posts and such. It's not consistent so you can hardly say what is expected. I'm not filing bugs because it's not the end of the world and devs have other things to do, but yea it is odd.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the reply
Poor error handling on your client.
