https://lemmy.world/post/66351 Currently it's only on the website of your instance itself possible - in Jerboa you can only search for communities.

Where do you go in Jerboa to search for communities?

Sorry if this is a very basic question

You will find a "list" button in the bottom menu, right in between the home button and the message/mail button. There you can search for communities. :) I hope that helps out!

The standard search seems to work. Magnifying glass icon, top of screen. Under the heart and create post.

Not sure how much of the federation is searched though. Local instance only? Stuff local instance knows about?

Wonder if Google grabs any of lemmy?

I'm not sure but I feel like this will need to be important as a lot of people use reddit as a search term to find information on google

Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
