Not sure if it's common knowledge, but I found a bug with the freighter refiner room.

I left stuff running in it (silicate to glass) and immediately jumped through freighter warp. After that my refiner had returned to a previous state (it contained a bunch of ferrite dust from previous rust processing).

Looks like the game "forgot" to save the freighter's state before jumping. Maybe saving before the jump would have prevented that.

I didn't lose anything too valuable, but maybe be careful.

Yeah it's common knowledge freighters will do this kinda stuff with refiners, just make sure you take the stuff out of them before jumping, saving I don't think has solved this soo

I've had some really weird bugs with freighter refining, even back when you'd put a machine down instead of a room. I just do all my refining either at a planet or with the exosuit miner v2.

Even the base refiners were buggy before, seems like they're at least more reliable now, instead of coming back every time to find it empty

Yup as others say this has been a bug for some time. You'll find if you keep checking from time to time that the silicate / glass reappears.
