Haven't had cable TV in more than a decade. It's nice to see Comcast, Cox, and Spectrum get a few consequences. I remember being in disbelief when Comcast told me that just Internet alone was more expensive than the TV/phone combo.

This feels more like something I’d expect to come from the FTC than the FCC; isn’t the FTC pushing new rules against hidden fees?

It could be both, but FCC has governance over broadcast and cable TV industry primarily. Either way, this is a much needed improvement in transparency and win over deceptive marketing practices.

I’d just be a little concerned that if the cable companies can find the right judge they’ll get it blocked for that reason
