4. Stay on-topic; no memes, funny videos, giveaways, reposts, or low-effort posts
This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you're submitting before posting to see if it's already been posted.
We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.
5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW
Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.
No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

I try not to get too hyped about new game releases because well a lot tend to be bad, but I loved the first game and hope this is better.
Wtf kind of title is Wariorse?
I think it just says Warhorse. As in Warhorse Studios.
Not the worst logo design but up there still.
Remember when they promised VR support in their Kickstarter and then quietly just didn’t do that?
The whole game was so ambitious for a new and independent studio that I'm surprised that only some minor things like this got scrapped.
I'm hoping it'll make it in eventually. Kind of like with NMS VR support.
Is it confirmed to be a sequel or is it just an announcement for their next game?
The devs recently posted pictures of their visits to medieval castles in the area that the first game takes place. Henry's actor was also spotted in Prague a couple of days ago. It's pretty safe to say that it's going to be a sequel of some sort.
I used to work in a small shop based in one of the towers of the Charles Bridge and one day where were some people checking the insides. I didn't get to talk to them, but they were doing some preliminary research for a computer game. Back then I figured it's either Kingdom Come 2 or an Assassin's Creed.
It was years ago, but these games can have a monstrously long development cycle.

Too many new games! I wish these guys announced in the iii
I loved this game. I grinded for hours and got tons of cash and nice equipment then I reached the point in the game where I think you can finally ride a horse and stopped playing. I should pick this up again. I think I got my save game backed up somewhere, but at this point I'd probably want to start again because I forgot much of the story Lol
I hope the main char is Secretariat (the one from Late late show) who is ridden by a Craig Ferguson that just makes your quests more difficult.
