🤗 Thanks for joining our little instance here, located in Oregon. The idea is to have a fast, stable instance and allow users to subscribe to whatever content they want from here.

😎 We dont block any other instances. We will keep it that way unless it becomes a moderation problem.

🤠 We will be around for a very long time, so you dont have to worry about us shutting down the instance anytime soon. We like performance and stability in our servers, and will upgrade the instance when its needed.

C'è questo nuovo browser, un fork di Firefox, in giro da non molto tempo. Si chiama Zen Browser, si basa su BetterFox, e in breve tempo ha collezionato 11mila stelle su GitHub in brevissimo tempo (per capirci Brave Browser ne ha 17mila). Non che le stelle di GitHub siano sinonimo di qualità chiaramente.

Si basa sull'ultima versione di Firefox (quindi non sull'ESR) ed è pensato per avere un po' di funzionalità in più come le tab verticali, la "split views" e altre cose interessanti.

Sul forum di PrivacyGuides mettevano un po' la pulce all'orecchio (parlando addirittura di honeypot) sul fatto che parliamo di un dominio creato pochissimi giorni fa, che ha avuto un boom abbastanza strano su GitHub e che divesi commit su GitHub sono bizzarri test.

This has gotten some attention, especially about a week ago, but I really hope more people will continue to try it and, if interested, support it. It is Firefox, but heavily modified to please a different audience that prefers a slightly different UI than Firefox. It has some of the appeal of Arc, Vivaldi, and the Sidebery extension.

In my view, it is very promising, and all competition in this space is good. Here it is on Github, also.

Just stumbled upon this project, seems rather new as my DNS blocked its domain by default for being too new hehe.. Anyone had a chance to try it yet? Its got some hefty promises, like having equally strong privacy features as Librewolf. I'll be giving it ago at least, almost sounds a bit too good to be true...
