iiuc, wf is not saying that customers can't wear BLM masks. They don't want to show a political stance and, as a result, don't want BLM masks worn by their employees, because that could be misconstrued as wf or Amazon taking a political stance. I can understand that. However, they, then, must ban ALL shows of politics in their store by them and their employees, and that includes LGBTQIA+ stuff. Otherwise, they're just banning BLM stuff, which will be ~~mis~~construed (notice the crossed out 'mis') as them taking a political stance against black folks.

Also, there are no sources at all, so we can't verify any of it, and I know that some of that data is incorrect. Sources would help us (the end user) determine whether our data is incorrect or yours is incorrect due to poor sources. This was inside the bill of a baseball cap with the word "MARINES" on the front. I tried changing the batteries, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Does anyone know what this is?
It has a button on one side. But new batteries didn't reveal it's purpose. I'm thinking it's too corroded now to work. I know that round thing is a simple speaker or buzzer, but I don't know (a) what sound it's intended to make and (b) why it was sewn into the bill of a baseball cap.

One of the local shoppes has an arcade style room in the back, perfect for a family day. The adults get their coffee, beit espresso or brew, and the children get their blended chocolate milks or whatnots.
I got my regular, espresso macchiato, and it was delicious! This shoppe seriously knows how to 'pull' it off (get it? Pull? Like a shot). I'll let myself out...
I was prepping an Americano, and the Peet's Major Dickason had a stick in it. I have never seen this before on a national brand like Peet's.
I'm still dialing it in, but at 11.36g in / 41.73g out, it was pretty good. Still not there, but closer than I thought on the first pull. I vaguely taste a fruit (apple maybe?) and some cacao. Not so much milk chocolate, as stated on the bag, and it's a bit more acidic that I would expect from this roaster, but both of those points could be just it not being dialed in yet.
Following another user's advice, I pulled this shot longer than the standard, to 41.45g (11.36g in).
This is the same super acidic Blue Blottle Bright from earlier, but this was so much less acidity. I can't say it was a great shot, as I must just not be a fan of Blue Blottle (or, at least, this blend), but it much much better. I wouldn't mind having this one again.
I don't have a proper shot scale, so I had to make due with the $2 Blaze scale that I found at some thrift store a while back. It's propped up on the dosing funnel to help mitigate splashing and further cooling of the liquid.
This little red metal mug was not where the espresso stayed, as the heat would dissipate before I had time to enjoy the drink. That scale has a maximum weight of less than my glass cups, as small as they are.
This was... not ideal. I am now saving for a proper scale.
The Reddit exodus caused by this regrettable API policy change that kills 3rd party apps, has left many of us without the subs we grew to love. r/espresso is one of these subs for me, but it wasn't on Lemmy. I created this community in the hopes that we'll get a Lemmy c/espresso going strong.
I'll get the ball rolling with a Moss Original haha. I haven't been able to pull my morning shots the past few mornings, but I'll either post tomorrow's morning shot (hopefully) or my afternoon espresso macchiato.

What happened to the vigor of society's cancel culture? Why are we not canceling corporate abuse like this? Or Microsoft's? Or Google's? Or Amazon's? Did we forget about cancel culture? Or are we just fine with being pawns in their dystopian capitalist games? Cancel culture had the potential to make real change, and we allowed corporations to cancel cancel culture for their capital gains.
