Cloudflare aren't perfect, but I still use them because for a free account the benefits outweigh the negatives like this.... However to say the worlds leading publishers and AI are on board is simply not true...
Seen plenty of people who think this is a bad thing, do they just want everything to be crawled. I mean I don't think this is the saviour but it has got to be better than wholesale theft
Try a few distros they all pretty much have strengths and weaknesses. Run Linux boxes here for servers and other tasks and a mix of uses
I must be in the minority but generally I like Win 11. Most of my clients still on Windows as well so I have to keep up to date...
Because plenty of people care very little about data or security but see all those people on there... so explaining how it is bad matters little as they've used facebook for over a decade
Not seen anything quite like that to be honest, but I do have a service running a pretty decent chat room system that doesn't keep any data after the room is nuked. Not quite the same I know... but it works well for me!

The tinternet is getting like the Wild West again, circa early 200s and Napster and all that... This will pass, dunno when or how but it will pass, or perhaps we will start getting everything paywalled so LLMs can't just scrape data without some sort of payment. I don't actually know many people that like AI nowadays
Here in the UK Musk is just seen as an idiot. Some decent European EV solutions coming along but the Chinese cars are so much better value than Tesla OR the main European makes. Couldn't happen to a nicer megalomaniac and as a plus I love seeing the monthly SpaceX explosions
to be fair I really just used my relay for myself and didn't run into that many issues... but this IS the reality if you want to help others like you said...
