Can't go wrong with Linux Mint. It works pretty much like Windows so there's little relearning needed.

Well, last time I installed it it was easier than Windows. I put it on my Dad's computer and it just works with his printer etc.
A suitable metaphor for this would be saying that you didn't enjoy having to start a Model T Ford with a hand crank so you've refused to drive a car ever since. Reminds my of my Grandfather.

Many many years ago I gave this book to my mother. Every time she sees an episode she marks it off, and now being 84 every episode is marked off many times over.
I guess an updated version would be too heave to lift, now.
