The touchscreens are cheaper, that's the main reason they are becoming common. Honda has already realized they are an issue, and has been going back to physical buttons.

Or hiking! I have read a frankly ridiculous amount of audiobooks while doing other stuff like exercising. It also lowers my anxiety and can help a bit with depression (if that is anyone's issue).
Should work the same, so long as you cut smallish holes on the autoclave bags the moisture will remain pretty decent. The more finicky bit is making sure there is enough FAE (fresh air exchange) as well. Would open the bags at least once a day, fan it, mist and close back. Also, not really much of a winter project, more of a late spring through autumn one.
The only issue is that different cuts and styles can affect those objectively correct measurements. When you ask a guy what size jeans they wear, they most often will also remark what brand they prefer. It's not really that they actually prefer it, but mostly that fits better than maybe another brand in the same size.
It doesn't last as long, that why. Actually good denim is really hard to get now on jeans without paying a fortune.
I love eating lions mane as well (taste and medicinal properties), also king blue oysters seem to be the most reliable strain I currently have. Lions mane can be used as a sub for crab, or you can press it for a steak sub. King blue oysters are a relatively newly bred strain, good oyster taste with maybe a hint of shrimp. I generally either fry mushies in butter with some salt and pepper, or actually follow a recipe if I'm trying anything more complex. If you are planning to grow them, the main equipment is start with is a pressure cooker for sterilizing spawn (I use a wild bird seed tek for my grain jars). Then just use hardwood fuel pellets and pasteurize them with boiling water in an autoclavable bag for when moving to bulk.
Hiking, kayaking, swimming, gardening, and mycology! I love growing Gourmet mushies to eat, as I'm vegetarian and some of the varieties I grow I can't get in my area easily. It's not too hard for some basic mushrooms (blue and pink oysters are where I'd start), and it is fascinating to see the mycelium grow.
Not op, but I used it the other day when I got fed up with google bascally only giving me amazon results when I was looking for something, and yeah it was better (admittedly, it was more like how google used to be, which I view as better). I don't really think bing is the solution though, can absolutely see them being enshittified shortly if they get enough people to start using bing.
Out of curiosity, how likely do you expect those reddit mods to move to lemmy? I see a bunch of retiring mods posts, but not many that have said they were moving here.
But car company profit margins! The last couple of years have kinda been great for a lot of car manufacturers, increasing prices, basically only having higher end models in stock (mostly because they generally take longer to move, which they began to en mass when the car market went to hell), and basically moving directly to evs moving forward, which are inherently more expensive (at least for now). Personally, I kind of like the idea of phevs like the 2nd Gen Chevy volt and the new prius, as they make the transition to electric easier and are generally cheaper to manufacture. Then after more charging stations are available, moving more and more to evs. Not trying to be a gas shill, but I just can't see getting an ev right now because of the whole charging mess (the only mostly reliable stations I've heard of are the Tesla ones) and the cost.
