For Chili and stuff, definitely use soya de carne. It's almost indistinguishable form ground beef. Harder to make into a burger of course but still okay.

Cuts of beef are a lot harder to make and will probably necessitate some more research tbh.

I'll vote third-party if there's a good local guy or referendum I care about. If I'm already going to the poll place, I may as well take the 5 seconds and write in de la Cruz.

I see some users talking about Korea as an industrial nation and while that's true it's also only a small part.

The DPRK is still at war with US-Puppet Korea officially. There are military drills every year and the US is committed to its destruction. Vietnam as a territory is whole. They won back their country and have lived relatively unopposed by the US for many years. The DPRK was split in half and is still under active military threat from the puppet state. Almost everyone in the DPRK has family, grandmothers, cousins, aunts, on the other side.

To borrow an analogy from Malcom X, Vietnam has had their knife removed. They have begun to heal from the atrocities committed and are free to pursue relations accordingly. The DPRK has had their knife thrust deeper and deeper by the US every single year, of course they haven't healed. If the US pulled out of Korea, adopted relatively friendly relations, and gave it 40 years then the DPRK would be far more cooperative.

The material conditions are massively different between the two countries so of course they have different policies.

Dragon's Dogma isn't obscure but it fits enough.

One of the very best RPG combat systems with a god tier magic system put in a paper-thin world. The leveling up is shitty and requires playing as different classes because your own class has such shit stats that leveling up is useless. Getting any real enjoyment out of the game is a 20 hour slog to get to the end-game stuff.

Forcing jokes is built in to the site

You had a chance to do some self-reflection and instead you doubled down...

Park rangers are cops but most laws they enforce are entirely reasonable. You can have some shitty ones that fuck things up but most are morally about the same as a regular job. If they wanted to fuck with people, they wouldn't be a park ranger, they'd be a city cop. The fact that they decided to do shit in the woods instead of patrol cities makes me give them the benefit of the doubt.

Most people who have bad interactions with rangers are dumb kids doing something they shouldn't. Which explains why Hexbear is so quick to jump on them.

Game theory relies on both parties understanding the "game" fully and making logical choices based on self-interest.

The world is unable to be understand fully and people often make illogical choices. It can be useful but only to a point.

Should Hexbear ML's tone down their Admiration...

No radlibs do this already and libs have yet to be convinced. Plus the whole "The Soviets were actually kinda good" can be a great entry-point to unlearning anti-communist propaganda.

If it wasn't hating AES, it would be something else. If we weren't being smeared for having correct opinions we would be smeared for outright lies.

Why? You have no understanding of why this person uploaded this file, nothing to go on, nor any knowledge about this person beyond their account uploaded the file. Was it intentional, maybe they just copied shit off a flash? If it was, were they reading and agreeing or were they just interested in the book? You have no idea and you will never know.

Not everything needs to be a moral crusade. Every single co-worker, including you, have thoughts that would get you fired. Work is like the brown paper bag over your can. Maybe they're drinking soda, maybe they're drinking beer, but unless they do some shit don't go around trying to read the label.

So is a crucial part of the theory no longer "survival of the fittest?" Because that's straight Malthus.

In what way is "organisms that increase their reproductive success spread their genetic material more than organisms that don't" Malthusian? Even Peter Kroptkin, the anarcho-communist who literally wrote the Bread Book, used "Survival Of The Fittest" in his writings.

Malthus is wrong for many reasons but the biggest is that humans are not base unconscious animals who rely on genetic variation to influence their behavior. Malthus built his ideas based on uneducated people in a pre-industrial society. But with increasing education and family planning, the exponential growth that Malthus predicted is severely curved. You shouldn't reject parts of evolution because Malthus used them to justify his political theory. You should reject them if they aren't scientifically sound.

eating sardines and how healthy they think it is (it’s not)

They are objectively nutritious and healthy. Plus they taste good if you're willing to get over yourself. You're telling on yourself with this post.
