Make all the throwaway jokes you want but a low information voter would probably perceive him the way I described and wouldn't catch the lies. Trump may be older than in 2016/2020 but he appeared present and even reassuring to uninformed or on-the-fence previous Trump supporter eyes.

His lies seemed more artful and effortless to me, and he stayed calm and lucid the entire time.

I mean Brexit predated the Trump election by 5 months

Legitimately planning how I'm going to weather a Trump presidency after the debate. Unimaginably disheartening.

Watching right now, about half way through. Biden's performance is beyond underwhelming. Guess I'm preparing to weather a 2nd Trump term if something doesn't change. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to cover it.

In hot, humid climates the toilet bowl itself will have condensation that sweats down the outside in my experience. YMMV

Toilet paper hanging haphazardly over the front of the roll provides a convenient place for a 3 inch spider to hide between the roll and hanging strip. The patent illustration is clearly meant as a sick joke.

Bad design. Toilet paper not currently in use must be stored outside the bathroom so that it doesn't become damp and musty from the humidity. As opposed to on the wet floor next to the dewy toilet. This is how you get a nasty fungal infection fyi

Wasn't the McGovern/Humphrey dem primary done similarly to Sanders/Clinton too? I think I remember my dad saying something like that a long time ago

Breaking things that worked flawlessly for years, nice. Hopefully fixed soon. It's not just me is it?

Screen rotates when I click the fullscreen button but video doesn't fill the screen, rotates back to vertical after a second. I was able to get it to work properly by turning on rotate screen in the pull down menu and then turning the phone. It still remained in the squashed format shown above but when I pull the video down and then tap on the minimized video it pops out into full screen finally. So it's still usable but the 5 step fix is pretty frustrating.

No I haven't filed a bug report, youtube is a grownup company and do it's own rudimentary beta testing. Sad to see unforced errors like this more and more common in longstanding industry standard apps.

Tangentially, Covid was a 9/11 per day or more for like 2 years. It's around a couple 9/11s a week now.

Not a fan of Apple but the number of people who would benefit from being able to monitor blood oxygenation is more meaningful to me than Masimo's ability to sell thousand dollar smartwatches with its patent technology. Would be great if somehow this patent was bought out and made public domain so people outside the upper middle class could have an affordable way to track their vitals.
