Or did it kill all the Martian cats?

We found that it's easier to say how you actually feel if you address the second part: "Incapacitated by cognitive dysfunction, but stable" or "anxious and emotionally raw, but manageable".

Which opens up to talk about it, just understand/share in it, as well as sneaks in an opening to express needs/wants/wishes (e.g. "manageable, but I would appreciate some extra encouragement" or "so I might drain faster and need to step out at times").

Why? You don't know their life, why do you get to decide how they should act and to whom?

You are ofc welcome to choose that approach for yourself, as mostly do I. But telling anyone what to do, especially on the flimsy base of gender, seems callous.

They're rare to be sure, maybe you start collecting them whenever you play with new people and organise a recurring Crunchy Game Night?

We currently manage about 1 crunchy game night/month

Honestly, women don't owe anyone to be polite at all, let them do as they want.

Not only does it spread aggressively through it's roots, but it also grafts onto almost anything. The roots connect to other plants and create new hybrid mints.

60 cm is the actual number, which makes it much too real for me...

I agree.

But I'm not the one needing to be convinced, the snow argument was touted by Trump himself as well as echoed in other conservative spaces.

We tried that, but US conservatives got confused when they saw snow.

Agreed.

One of the better reasons for religion is that comprehending the uncaring vastness of the universe risks breaking our minds

No business is making 15 year plans, quarterly numbers must go up, lest the shareholders kick you out. Blame capitalists for this one.

What pity we can't reach any of it in a lifetime.

Sometimes one just doesn't have the energy to do what needs done. How do you manage it?

I've been asked to make a Thai Red curry with chicken for a larger party, and they've asked for the soup to be of variable spicyness.

I was thinking that maybe I could do the soup mild, and have an additive with extra spice.

I could go with chilli oil ofc, but I'd prefer to have the richness of the red curry flavors if possible.

Is there a good way to make some kind of red curry seasoning? Do I just offer the guests red curry paste to mix into the soup, or should I mix it with something?

One of my favorite creators made a little vlog [3:33] about finding herself a stick on a gloomy day.

I just found it today, and thought it might delight this comm.

Hope you enjoy.
