Is this true? Because he didn't deal with selling his paintings, that was his brother Theo's job (an art dealer). The arrangement they had was Theo would finance Vincents art life while Vincent would send him all his art. They were both very happy to do this arrangement and frequently wrote to eachother often. In fact the main reason van Gogh is so famous is because of all these letters which allowed us to learn about Vincents life and tragic end.

There are issues with some games for sure. You'll tab in/out at the wrong times (usually loading screens) and this guarantees Wayland will crash and restart the session. But at least it gracefully dies and comes back, never had it freeze on me.

EDIT: Playing MGS5 rn and the game froze when I tabbed, locked the entire system. Can't even switch to a new tty so I'm forced to reboot.

System: high end AMD on Nix with relatively latest pkgs from unstable branch

Idk how the majority of this thread can say Wayland is perfectly stable, it's plain disingenuous.

I think he was trying to have a philosophical point here but took the headass approach to it.

20 years ish old, living in Poland, and perma online does things to a man. Weird though to have a take like that when Polish people in particular were significant victims in Auschwitz

I also frequent the discord server often for help with configuring, I have not seen/experienced any of this hatred talked about so much. The worst I've seen is bluntness in delivering a solution or just being ignored because I someone didn't RTFM.

Hyprland is a wonderful piece of technology and I hope it continues to persist.

Assuming GitHub doesn't say Hi

Hello gamers, this bad boy arrived today and it's the first time I've encountered 3 PCIe power slots. I'm familiar with using 1 cable and using the daisy chained 8 pin to handle the 2 slots. Since my Gigabyte 80+ G 1000W came with 3 of these PCIe cables I'm assuming this setup is correct? I'm probably needlessly worrying that I'll brick this.

To be exact, each cable is an 2+6 pin into the PSU while the opposite end is 2 (daisy chained) 2+6 pins. My worry is rooted in not being familiar with the daisy chained bits importance.
