I need more details, dude. If I hung out with them for a year, would a new me appear or would we all grow older together? In the case of the latter, would a new 1 year old me appear when the previous 1 year old me turned 2? These are important considerations!

Don't get your hopes up, the chances of him going to prison, or bring punished in any way, are basically zero.
In not a lawyer, but I think the recordings are what is owned by the label. As long as she wrote the song, she can re-record and release the new recordings.
