Haven't stopped using reddit, tbh. But my usage has noticeably dropped - haven't even commented on a single thing but one after installing Jerboa. Having an alternative really does help. I'm confident I can completely stop redditing on mobile by the end of the month as long as this community stays active.

Windows 10 on my desktop. I game and work on it, and there are applications for my job that I can't get to work on Linux (even on Wine).
My laptop is on Linux (Endeavour OS). It's my portable device and I don't use it for work so Linux, imho, is my best choice. It's pretty old as well.
I'm still amazed at how many people I know still think cars are better before because they were "harder to break." Yeah, you can sit on the hood of an old car and it won't do anything to it, but try crashing at 80km/h and you're gonna wish that unbreakable object broke. Anything higher and you might not have a chance to wish for anything. Lol.
My previous company is not even in the tech sector, but I was a manager there and I hated our hybrid setup. We all did. Only the ones at the top were forcing it.
Did they communicate with you about your ban? Or removed your posts?
My concern is lemmy in general is too complicated a concept for the average user just wanting to browse. I've already encountered 2 users on reddit recently who might have stopped because of this complexity. One said he/she felt like lemmy makes its users answer queries before being able to join a sub, and one just couldn't get why there has to be different instances and was turned off because he/she couldn't quite understand how it all works.
I'm not sure I understand everything completely myself, but I'm willing to try. I don't think a lot of people do, tbh.
Edit: I'm aware why lenny is like this (generally) and I am definitely not criticizing it. Just mentioning some points as to why it may be hard for other people to follow us here.
I'm still hoping some of the subs I frequent will migrate here. That's my only concern, tbh. If even 90% of the subs I'm following on reddit move here, I can quit reddit altogether. I'm also concerned about nsfw content (not just porn), but reddit is killing that too.
Can't start my own subs because, 1) I have no time, experience, nor patience to mod, and 2) idk of many of the people from those subs are already here.
Overall, though, lemmy/fediverse has been nice to me.
