Sure did. I think it was some sort of cryptobro group focused on "growth and monetisation" if I remember right. Named "Chosen" I believe?

I'm not sure I trust Nexus with a picture of my ID, you know. What a fucking mess.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I would wait for a bigger sale. The game is fine, the combat is solid and to its credit it's absolutely beautiful. But at its heart it's just a very polished Ubisoft open world game. It's also way too long given how dour the writing is. The story is fine but you can't maintain interest for 60 hours when everything is delivered in a stoic monotone.

Inte förvånande överhuvudtaget eftersom den sittande regeringen tycks ha som största prioritet att förvandla Sverige till USA.

Fullkomligt deprimerande.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is 25% off. I held off on it on release but it's apparently much better now after the patches. It's a Metroidvania Soulslike, and the skill tree is clearly inspired by Path of Exile. I just started playing it yesterday but I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far.

I'm seeing the movie on wednesday, hoping it'll be a good time. On paper an old driver feeling pressed into playing dirty because he can't hang with the young guns anymore doesn't sound half bad. Though I doubt that's how it's portrayed in the film.

That's fair. As far as I know the same was true for Chris Roberts. Well, it wasn't so much that he had a publisher that would edit him as it was that he was fired and Microsoft came in and cobbled together what was there into an actual game (Freelancer).

Great list. I think I will replay about half your list at some point over the coming years. And might first time play Love For Sail as well.

There are a lot of great mods for BG2 as well to keep the game feeling fresh. Even moreso if you don't mind adding some fanfiction material, though I typically don't.

I was not aware of aggregatet.org, that's a cool instance. An instance run by a democratic organisation is interesting. Left leaning too. Might have to make an account there actually.

At least Molyneux has put out some good games. Yeah, they don't have all the earth shattering features he's promised, but there's some good titles in his portfolio. I'm not convinced Star Citizen is a good game.

Operation Midnight Climax was soon expanded, and CIA operatives began dosing people in restaurants, bars, and beaches(...)

Wild.

Another Brighton horror show for what is either the unluckiest team or a woeful medical department - or more likely both.

Once practice and qualifying were completed, every car had lapped the Jeddah Corniche Circuit faster than its predecessor had managed with a single exception: the AMR25s of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll

Someone else linked this absolutely haunting reading of Kipling's 1915 war poem some month or so back elsewhere on Lemmy and it's stayed with me since then. The poem is great in its own right but this reading is something else.

If this is a one-stop we're doomed. And I have a sinking feeling in my stomach that it will be.

I believe Gary Davis owned six J-200s over the years, and while he preferred the blonde finish this one is still a beauty.

Video of the reverend playing another of his J-200s.

Beautiful Fender custom shop creation. More footage, as well as sound samples of it being played here.
